Just at the other end of the block from El Bodegon is this small store of about 2500 square feet. I caught it under construction in the summer of 2020. It was previously the RJ Superette, and it's now the City Fresh Market though it's not actually a City Fresh Market (tour their amazing Bushwick store here).
We can see a few interior pictures of the store on the Google Maps page, having opened in early September 2020.
Quite the coincidence in this shot -- the CTown delivery van is driving by in the background. We've previously toured Passaic's CTown, and we'll be returning for a revisit following the store's extensive remodel.
This is the best I could do as far as a shot of the inside as all of the windows were completely covered over. Up next is one more store on Broadway just one block to the east, tomorrow right here on The Independent Edition!
