A quick look today at an international grocery store in the central part of Fair Lawn. This store focuses on Middle Eastern/halal and Eastern European/kosher foods, making for an interesting product selection. The 3500 square foot store is also located in half of a former Grand Union, which believe it or not actually made it almost all the way to the end of the chain. See more here.
An overview of the store from its entrance. I wonder if the red poles are left from Grand Union, which typically used red for accents in the store interiors. There's unfortunately no decor around the store, though.
Frozen items on the right side of the store, with dairy and refrigerated products on the left side. A halal butcher takes up the back part of the store, although it looks like it's been cut back from its original size.
