Organnons Natural Market Owner: Jim Gannon Opened: Jan 2021-Jun 2022 Cooperative:  INFRA Location:  409 E Butler Ave, New Britain, PA Photographed:  December 28, 2021 We are here in New Britain, right outside of Doylestown, to tour the Organnons Natural Market. This was one of two locations for the company, with the other in Newtown. Unfortunately, the New Britain location was rather short-lived for Organnons, opening in January 2021 and closing by June 2022. It is located on the ground floor of a new-build apartment complex, and the store is on the smaller side, probably under 10,000 square feet. We enter to produce in the front corner, with dairy in the first aisle and frozen on the back wall. The prepared foods/coffee shop area is on the right side. The store is oriented so as to be accessible to both the street and the parking lot. Green Life Market Owner: Mervet Yassin Opened:  2022 Cooperative:  INFRA Location:  29 NJ-23, Wayne, NJ Photographed:  January 5, 2023 It's time to check out this brand-new, 13,000 square foot natural supermarket in Wayne, NJ, right next to the Willowbrook Mall! This supermarket really isn't like any other grocery store out there because of what it was previously. We've seen stores that were built as drugstores, warehouses, factories, theaters -- but this one was a buffet restaurant. It had a few tenants before closing during the coronavirus. In 2022, local natural food store chain Green Life Market began renovating the space and it opened in the late summer or early fall. We will see clues of this building's past, including a lot of the flooring and ceiling. But it's been turned into a very nice and very complete natural food supermarket. Kimberton Whole Foods Owner: Terry Brett Opened:  2004 Cooperative:  INFRA Location:  150 E Pennsylvania Ave, Downingtown, PA Photographed:  August 20, 2019 We're at our second store here in Downingtown, about a mile and a half west of the Wegmans we saw yesterday. This store is 6100 square feet -- the Wegmans is nearly 20 times as large. But this Kimberton Whole Foods is a very pleasant outpost of the eastern PA natural foods chain. Originating in Kimberton, PA, the chain has since expanded to six locations with one more coming soon. Kimberton's produce is one of its strongest features, with a large amount of it coming from local farms including a farming cooperative based in Lancaster. While this store is quite nice, we can tell it's an older Kimberton store compared to newer stores like Collegeville , in part of a former ACME. Produce is in the front right corner, and dairy, meat, and frozen line the outside walls. There's some short grocery aisles in the middle...
