Today's snapshot is the second of the two Meat Place locations, with the first being about three quarters of a mile south on Nostrand Ave.
This location opened in 2009, nine years after the first. And it also appears that this one is under a different owner, Peter Sills instead of Anthony Marchese, however that could also just be an error in the listing. This location is two doors north of JK Joe Farm, which you can see with the green awning in the above picture.
Nice shots! This building looks very photogenic to me.
ReplyDeleteWell, I thought I left a reply earlier but apparently Blogger ate my comment. Anyway, thank you, and yes the building is very nice as are many of these buildings in Brooklyn. The different architectural styles and the very, very different characters of the neighborhoods (as you've seen) fascinate me. I have a post coming up at the end of this week, when we'll have finished seeing all the stores here in Flatbush, with a few pictures of residential and commercial buildings and landmarks around the neighborhoods. You'll see even more of the variation in styles then!

DeleteAside from an awesome high school architecture class, I really don't know much about the styles. I just take pictures of buildings that interest me!
